This issue was the last issue under the creative direction of Patrice Fuma Courtis and Karin Chane Yin. It was at the Emporio Armani event that their business partner Malissa Stawicki, heard that they planned to start another magazine called SPOON Beauty.
It was at this time Malissa proposed to buy Patrice and Karine out, so that they could start a Beauty magazine with their agent. They accepted and departed SPOON LTD in London to launch Cream Beauty magazine.
This period marked a major expansion for SPOON LTD and the avant-garde fashion publication. Under a new creative team, SPOON launched SPOON Men and SPOON Beauty, published DVD’s launched into cable broadcasting and published its first book.
